Kachere Development Programme has increased its projects and sites. At the beginning of 2012, the institution had three major projects running. These projects are the sexual reproductive health rights and water and sanitation, women empowerment and support groups for the MARPs. This picture changed by the mid of the year as we saw few partners come on board. In the third quarter of the year, Kachere Development Programme started developing new funding partnership with the USAID funded program under the Family Health International 360-Zambia led Prevention Initiative (ZPI) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Global Environment Facility.
The Orphans and Vulnerable Children and Home Based Care programs continued to be implemented with support from the United Methodist Global AIDS Fund and the Global Fund Round 8 under the Churches Health Association of Zambia/Expanded Church Response to HIV Trust (ECR).
